Jumeirah Carlton Tower appoints new director of spa and fitness

Alice Lightfoot has been appointed as the director of spa and fitness at Jumeirah Carlton Tower in central London.
Leading the team at The Peak Fitness Club and Spa, she will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction of the spa and wellness division. This includes ensuring the team delivers an exceptional luxury experience that aligns with the Jumeirah brand.
Her role includes overseeing the day-to-day management of the Talise Spa and fitness facilities, while also driving long-term initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and brand positioning.

Director of spa and fitness, Jumeirah Carlton Tower Lightfoot’s role includes developing innovative wellness programmes and treatment offerings, maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and compliance, and ensuring seamless collaboration with other departments such as sales, marketing and PR.
An important part of her role will be developing a high-performing team, providing clear direction, ongoing training and professional development to ensure staff consistently exceed expectations.
A career in wellness hospitality
Lightfoot trained at Champneys College qualifying as a beauty therapist, joining the flagship Champneys Tring as a senior therapist. Her roles with Champneys include premier therapist, day manager and head of retail at Champneys Henlow.
She then became spa manager at Champneys Tring. Following this she moved onto Champneys Mottram Hall as hotel operations manager, gaining in-depth experience in golf operations, meetings and events, housekeeping and food and beverage. In November 2023, she joined Jumeirah Carlton Tower as spa and fitness operations manager.

The Talise Spa at Jumeirah Carlton Tower is renowned for its elevated guest journey and premier spa treatments.
